Description
This is Italian sweet basil (not the tulsi used for puja), grown as a microgreen. The tiny leaves are sweet and very fragrant, with a hint of clove — a few of them lift a pasta, pizza, bruschetta or a tomato salad.
Basil is slow and delicate (14–20 days) and gives very little per tray, which is why it is our premium 30 g pack and a favourite of cafés. It keeps the shortest of all our greens: use it within about 3 days and do not wash it until you serve.
